Job Outline:

Now is an exciting time to join a growing provider of fiberoptic technologies at their Head Office in Suffolk. Due to continuing expansion we are now looking for a Product Development Manager to join their Senior Management Team.

In this hands-on role, you will manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team delivering new and existing products to meet customer deadlines. This will see you involved in product development, project management, staff management, and hands-on engineering.

As Product Development Manager, you will assume responsibility for development, implementation and monitoring of the technology roadmap - providing fiber optic solutions for multiple end markets.

Coordinating the activity of all internal teams involved, you will ensure all project timelines and budgets are met.

Working closely with manufacturing, procurement, and sales you will ensure timely delivery of new products.

This is a new role with a growing company, where you can make your mark, and be instrumental in defining a future for yourself and the company too.

Experience:

As the successful Product Development Manager, ideally you will have worked in a similar role in a similar manufacturing environment.

With previous experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, you will be confident working with and leading internal teams to ensure all project timelines and budgets are met.

Qualifications:

Ideally you should hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, with at least 3 years' of management experience.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK, without requiring sponsorship. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested for verification.
