We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. You will carry out general nursing duties including clinics, anaesthesia, and patient care. There is scope for individuals to develop their own area of interest and nurses are encouraged to make use of their skills. All levels of experience are considered, but you would need to be an RVN to apply

This is a full time psotion over 3.5 - 4 days, bu we would also be happy to hear from Part time candidates too.The shift times are between 8am and 7pm, with a shared Saturday morning rota and one weeknight on call.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is a good team player and passionate about high clinical standards and first-class patient care and a good communicator. The candidate will need to be able to work well as a part of the team and we would welcome either an experienced nurse or someone at an earlier stage of their career.

Homefield Road Veterinary Practice was opened in February 2009 and is a modern, comfortable, and welcoming surgery that was purpose built to accommodate our customers and their pets.

We are a purpose built hospitalwithfull in-house lab, separate isolation, cat and dog wards and a separate orthopaedic theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy and we have one branch practice.We treat all types of domestic animals and have a dedicated equine clinic for our horse clients.

We welcome you to join our friendly and supportive team of Vets, Nurses, and Support staff, that have a wide range of interests, and who provide support to each other whilst working within our busy clinics. Training and progression are greatly supported and many of the clinical staff hold or are working towards further qualifications, meaning we benefit from a wide range of specialities.
Our nurses enjoy lots of responsibility within the practice, and we utilise their skills in all areas of nursing.
