13.37ph + Enhanced Overtime Rate + 6% Pension Contributions
10pm - 6am Sunday - Thursday

Our client is looking for hard-working facilities operator to work within their busy plant. You will be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding our company's standards of excellence.

The Role of a Facilities Operator -

• Provide general maintenance for the company's machinery, including routine inspections and repairs.
• Clean the internal parts of machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Ensure machinery and plant equipment are in good working order through regular maintenance checks and preventive measures.
• Oil and grease plant machinery to minimise friction and prevent wear and tear.
• Undertake basic DIY tasks using hand and power tools to address maintenance needs efficiently.
• Report any issues and faults as they arise to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
• Use a scissor lift to access machinery when appropriate, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Ensure good site housekeeping to maintain a clean and organised work environment.

The ideal candidate -
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar facilities operator role and will have the following skills:

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have good time keeping.
• Good level of health and safety awareness
