What You'll Do:

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll lead projects from conception to completion, collaborating closely with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing electrical diagrams and schematics using AutoCAD and potentially EPLAN.
  • Collaborating with production engineering to define materials and specifications.
  • Providing technical support across teams.
  • Managing projects through manufacturing, installation, and testing phases.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK standards and DNO (Distribution Network Operator) requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Formal engineering qualification.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; EPLAN knowledge is advantageous.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with UK electrical standards in the MV/HV industry.
  • Experience in protection and control systems design.
  • Knowledge of LV electrical installations and 18th edition wiring regulations.
  • Flexible approach and problem-solving skills.
