A global professional services company is currently looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and support the accounting team, working closely with the General Ledger Manager. This is a contract role initially for 6 months and will be inside IR35. The role is based onsite at the Hayes office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and balance team workloads.
  • Monitor and improve team performance.
  • Ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
  • Provide feedback and collaborate on quality improvements.
  • Assist in creating and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).

Work Details:

  • Serve as the team’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas such as Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Treasury/Cash Management, Period Close, Monthly Standard Activities, and Quality Assurance.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Accurate, efficient, and organized.
  • Adaptable and team-oriented.
  • Proficient in English and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of staff.
