Currently Looking for a Health Care Assistants to work with Elderly, who may require one-to-one support , based in a care home West Drayton, West London The role is ongoing based on picking up shift bases
The Ideal Candidate will be:
- Assisting residents with personal care and dressing
- Assisting residents with incontinence needs
- Assisting residents with repositioning - must be able to use required equipment - hoist, stand aid, slide sheet etc.
- Assisting with food and fluids
- Helping with laundry, cleaning, preparing meals
- Record all relevant documents accurately - must have good verbal and written skills
Experience, Skills and Ability
- • Proven relevant care work experience for at least 2 years in a care/residential home
- • Proven experience of working within a team
- • Demonstrable skills in leadership and supervision
- • Good communication skills
- • Numeracy and literacy skills
- • IT skills including accessing and using the internet, email, and word
- Current DBS and Valid Manual Handling Training required
