Customs Coordinator - Perishable Goods

Are you an experienced Customs Coordinator, seeking an engaging new position? This Opportunity might be ideal for you. Our client, a well-established freight forwarder is looking to expand their customs team. Junior Applicants with customs experience are also encouraged to apply.

Location: Hayes, London

Salary: 30,000-35,000 (DOE)

Work Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:30am - 6:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• You will check the data provided by customers against required source and advise on potential errors.
• You will be creating job files, entering data accurately into customs software.
• Using customs software to create import export declarations (such as CDS)
• Track and monitor declaration status
• Effectively and efficiently dealing with queries and concerns. Including liaising with all stakeholders in the process
• Provide support and guidance on all the latest customs procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder or Customs Broker.
• Customs qualifications and previous experience working with IPAFFS/PEACH, customs entries, CDS.
• Experience as a Customs Coordinator or equivalent.
• HMRC Compliance Knowledge is desirable
