Estimator

Our client, a family run main contractor based near Haywards Heath, are currently seeking an Estimator to join them due to continued growth. Our client specialise within the Heritage sector working on projects up to £2.5million in value, predominately in London. Their work mainly compromises of fit outs / refurbishments, exhibitions, external repairs, redecorations and general building works. This opportunity offers an attractive package and genuine career progression.

It is envisaged that the ideal candidate has prior estimating experience, as well as heritage project experience, however similar project experience would be considered. This position will also mostly be office based from their office near Haywards Heath, but they have also got a London office available.

Estimator Position Overview

• Job Type: Permanent
• Job Location: Near Haywards Heath
• Projects: Mostly in London with some more local
• Monday to Friday
• Start Date: As soon as possible - happy to wait for notice periods
• Further duties can be discussed

Estimator Position Requirements

• Must have estimating experience
• Based within commutable experience of Haywards Heath
• Heritage experience would be highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating software and tools.
• Familiarity with historical building codes, regulations, and preservation practices.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE
