Supply Desk is seeking SEND teaching assistants for a Special Needs School in Haywards Heath, starting in September 2024 on a long-term contract.

Pay: £83.40-£97.69 per day, depending on experience

Supply Desk proudly represents a Special Education School serving children aged 7-16 based in a beautiful school in the Haywards Heath area. The school seeks two SEND teaching assistants for 1:1 support or small group settings.

 

About the School:

- Specialises in supporting children aged 7-16 with additional needs such as ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and more

- Features a brand-new vocational setting in Haywards Heath

Job Description:

- Experience with children with additional needs (SEMH, ASC, ADHD, etc.) preferred

- Willingness to work with Key Stages 2, 3, and 4 (ages 7-16)

- Responsible for delivering interventions in small groups, focusing on Reading, Maths, and Literacy

- Full-time role with potential for a permanent contract

- Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex

- Start Date: September 2024

- Contract Length: Long-term, with potential for permanency

- Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

 

Individual Profile:

- Nurturing and caring nature

- GCSEs in Maths and English

- Experience working with children/young people

- Passionate, enthusiastic, and proactive

- Adaptable and sensitive to challenging situations

- First Aid trained or willing to undergo training
