We are seeking dedicated Supply Teachers to join our team, providing vital support to schools across Sussex. This role is perfect for those who enjoy variety and flexibility in their teaching career, offering the opportunity to work across different subjects and year groups on a temporary basis (short term or long term).

Supply Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities across various subjects and year groups.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support and guide students, monitoring their progress and development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity in the curriculum and effective learning outcomes.
  • Adapt to the unique atmosphere of each school, quickly establishing rapport with students and staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people within an educational setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to different school environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
  • A flexible approach to teaching and the capacity to build relationships quickly.
