The Recycled Products business is one of the largest recyclers in Europe, with the scope and expertise to recycle up to 10,000 tonnes each year of post-use material. Products manufactured range from refuse sacks to outdoor furniture and technical construction membranes, with majority of material coming from their own internal wash plants, producing post-use waste for use in the Group’s downstream production operations.


Plaswood manufactures maintenance free plastic furniture, from recycled plastic, and supplies a diverse range of products and customers from Schools and Playgrounds, Structure and Architectural and garden furniture both in the public and private sector directly and via resellers, contractors and builders merchants, and are now seeking to attract a Business Development Manager to further develop their already successful and innovative business.


Reporting to the Sales Director, the Business Development Manager will be instrumental in identifying, developing and delivering profitable sales growth, both with existing and new customers across the UK. Working closely with the customer service and marketing teams, the Business Development Manager will also identify opportunities for new product and new market development, building strategic partnerships internally and externally.


Candidates will have a proven track record of delivering profitable sales and new business growth, either internally or externally, in a business-to-business environment. Experience of working with plastic/recycled products and/or supplying the construction market would be advantageous, but not essential. You will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a technical mindset and have the ambition and determination to exceed expectations.
