Our Business

CDM Recruitment is a leading Recruitment specialist operating across two North East offices. Working from our South Tyneside Office, the role would ideally suit someone from a Recruitment or Sales background. You’d be joining a well-established Recruitment business with 20 years of experience delivering for many UK and Regional Construction / Engineering companies.

The ideal candidate will have the drive to take this opportunity and progress their career forward. You will be keen to become involved in the long-term development and growth of the department, working closely with the existing teams and developing an existing section with a long-established client/candidate database. 

We're looking for a consultant that possesses excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to empathise with the needs of your clients and candidates – so you’ll need to have a good balance of commercial, professional, and people skills.

The Opportunity

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

•Contacting new clients to win business

•Offering advice and consultation to candidates and clients

•Identifying new candidates through networking and market research

•Maintaining and developing candidate relationships in a competitive marketplace

•Interviewing potential candidates both over the telephone and in-person

•Liaising between candidates and clients regarding interviews, placements, etc.
