Chemist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chemist at an adhesives manufacturing company based in Northumberland. As a Chemist you will be responsible for the formulation of new and existing chemical products. You will also be responsible for conducting tests and analysis of materials and products.
To be considered for the Chemist position you will be degree educated in Chemistry or a related field – Polymer Chemistry background would be preferred. You will also have experience in a similar position within the adhesives industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and formulation of new/existing products.
- Conduct chemical tests.
- Analyse results to interpret data.
- Collaborate with various divisions to drive research.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Background/Experience:
- Previous experience working within the adhesives industry.
- Degree educated in Chemistry or a related field – Polymer Chemistry background is preferred.
- Knowledge of chemical processes and reactions.
- Knowledge of regulations and safety protocols.
