We are recruiting on behalf of a global company that operates on highly regulated and sensitive industrial sites in the nuclear sector. They’re looking for a HV/LV Electrical Engineer to work within the FNICAP Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) of the Ministry of Defence. We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute their expertise to a variety of critical projects.

Key Responsibilities: HV LV Engineer

• Identify project requirements and stakeholder needs.
• Manage supply chain engineering support and contribute to optioneering.
• Support contract scope writing and placement activities.
• Ensure compliance with design standards during detailed design activities.
• Provide technical supervision of construction, commissioning, and/or decommissioning.
• Liaise with stakeholders for efficient project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality policies.

Key Requirements: HV LV Engineer

• Proficiency in current design standards and practices.
• HNC in Electrical Engineering.
• Theoretical and practical skills in concept design, detailed design, and construction stages.
• Experience in design assessment of electrical plant and equipment.
• Proficiency in specifying electrical systems for HV and LV networks.
• Ability to author technical justifications for design modifications.
• Familiarity with industrial plant and machinery.
• Experience in multi-discipline projects providing electrical engineering input.
• Basic health and safety training for site visits.
• Must be eligible for SC clearance if not already cleared.
