Key Job Role:
Delivering products to high street retailers within a 100-mile radius of Hemel Hempstead.
Key Responsibilities:
Drivers can expect to do 10-15 drops per day
You may occasionally have to help unload the vehicle however most of the time there will be people on site to help with this - Equipment is supplied to help.
Drive Company vehicles and operate Company equipment in a safe and proper manner in accordance with Company Policies, procedures and legislation.
Provide excellent customer service at all times and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle, reporting any defects immediately.
Ability to self-manage and use initiative for solving problems.
Experience & Qualifications:
Hold a full Category C Licence - HGV/LGV Class 2.
CPC Qualification card.
No more than 3 points max.
This is a physically demanding role so a proficient level of fitness would be beneficial.
Knowledge of driving legislation.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
**You will be required to pass a highway code theory test and driving assessment**
Hours:
Monday-Friday
Start times - 5 to 6am
10 Hours per shift
