Moped Riding Civil Enforcement Officer

Are you looking for a change from 9-5 office work and enjoy the outdoors? Do you enjoy communicating with and helping others? Got a driving licence? If so, Saba are currently recruiting for a Moped Riding Civil Enforcement Officer at our Dacorum Borough Council contract.
What will you be doing?
As a Moped Riding Civil Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing the On and Off Street Parking Regulations for the contract and for issuing Penalty Charge Notices (PCN’s) to contravening vehicles where necessary.
Reporting to the Team Leader, working hours are 42.5 hours per week which includes a 1 hour paid lunch break, Monday to Sunday on a any 5 from 7 shift rota. Bank Holiday working may be required. Training and uniform will be provided.
What skills will you need
You will need to possess good interpersonal and literacy skills as you will be dealing with members of the public on a daily basis and recording information regarding the area patrolled and issuing PCN’s when necessary. You will also need to be able to use your initiative, work with minimum supervision and be able to follow procedures and guidelines. The ability to problem solve in stressful situations will also be key to the role.
A full Cat B driving licence, CBT Certificate is required or hold a provisional license and be prepared to go on CBT training and ride a moped.
