Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading manufacturing company based in Hemel Hempstead who are currently looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.
Working within the IT Infrastructure team, you will help support a range of modern technologies, plus other bespoke, industry-specific solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Server and storage administration
- Providing 3rd line support to the team
- Microsoft 365 tenant configuration and management
- Authentication and application management
- Managing the Cloud presence
- Testing and delivering User Experience improvements
Key Skills Required
- Experience of supporting Windows operating systems (server, desktop, dual-boot)
- OS and Application patching / WSUS
- Physical system commissioning skills - server, desktop, and peripherals
- Experience of supporting Linux workstations
- Systems Monitoring - Grafana / Zabbix
- Experience supporting M365/O365 suite.
- Active Directory and/or Azure infrastructure management experience
- Understand network support essentials - DHCP, DNS, routing etc
- Messaging - Microsoft Exchange Hybrid environments
- Backup experience
