As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the profitable growth of our client's compressors and generators business, focusing on technical and marketing support for internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will encompass product range management, business statistic reporting, and market trending analysis to facilitate targeted marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and sales support to customers, colleagues, and sales teams.
  • Plan and prioritise sales activities to achieve agreed business objectives.
  • Manage team time and productivity effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
  • Deliver presentations to enhance company image and increase sales.
  • Coordinate activities with colleagues and other divisions to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Update relevant information systems and report on activities.

  • Assist authorised distributors with product marketing efforts.

  • Undertake ad-hoc project work as required.


Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:
  • Strong engineering background with an apprenticeship, HNC/HND or Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, or vacuum compressor environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent command of English with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
  • Previous experience in product sales or technical support is desirable.
  • Knowledge of compressed air, generator, or pump industry is advantageous.
  • Self-driven with a positive outlook and focus on quality and business profit.
  • Competent, confident, and adaptable with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Business acumen with the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
