DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SUPPORT WORKER – IMMEDIATELY REQUIREDHEREFORD. LOCATION:           Hereford.START DATE:        ASAP.DURATION:           Permanent.HOURS:                 40 hours per week.SALARY:               £24,960 per annum (plus £309 per month car allowance).This role is a hybrid role with remote working involved.   Are you a committed Support Worker dedicated to supporting individuals affected by domestic violence?  Are you able to build strong and lasting relationships with service users and assist them in creating a fresh start for themselves?If so, BRC are working with a passionate organisation looking for a domestic violence support worker to join their friendly team. This permanent opportunity offers a competitive salary and career progression, as well as the reward of making a positive contribution in the community.This position will involve managing a case load of service users living within supported accommodation, assisting them to find more permanent accommodation as well as to access the necessary financial and mental health support services.The right candidate will be compassionate, yet confident, able to manage challenging situations with a strong knowledge of safeguarding measures and procedures. You will also be involved in welcoming and assessing the needs of new referrals to the service, in addition to creating ‘moving on’ support plans for clients looking to exit the service, ensuring that they are able to maintain their tenancies.The suitable candidate will have prior experience working with individuals who have experienced domestic violence.
