Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC milling machines according to job specifications and blueprints.
- Program CNC machines CAM software.
- Operate machines to produce high-quality components within tight tolerances.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programme Setter Operator or similar role.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CAM software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing is a plus.
