This global manufacturer of high precision engineered parts and products is seeking an additional CNC Operator to join a very successful team based in Hertford. This client is offering a permanent career opportunity to an experienced CNC Operator with 2-3 years’ previous experience, who is seeking further development and progression in the world of manufacturing. Working a permanent day shift - Monday to Friday, the annual salary is approx. £28,000 and offers paid overtime.

Working on a range of manufacturing solutions, mainly for the automotive, agricultural and aerospace sectors, your skill and experience will be spent working on state-of-the-art CNC Machinery, offering plenty of variety plus the opportunity to utilise your proven tooling and CNC operating skills. Working with highly skilled and trained CNC Machinists and Programers, you will receive excellent levels of training on all machine shop tools including mills, lathes, and grinders, producing high-spec parts and products working with various metals and materials.

You will be able to read and work from complex engineering drawings, with responsibility for operating, assessing and working on a range of bespoke customer parts. Working alongside quality inspection and logistics includes teamwork, therefore excellent verbal and written communication skills is required at all times. Naturally you will be confident in the use of hand tools such as micrometres, verniers and gauges, with ongoing responsibility for the consistent inspection of products from initial manufacture to completion.
