Early Years Teacher - Hertford

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join a lovely school and make a difference in the lives of little learners. As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early experiences of children. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote holistic development across various domains, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Key Responsibilities of a Early Years Teacher:

  • Design and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction to meet their individual needs.
  • Create a safe and inclusive space where children feel empowered to express themselves and develop essential social skills.
  • Support children's emotional well-being and provide guidance and encouragement as they navigate early childhood experiences.
  • Collaborate with other team members to plan special events, outings, and projects that enrich the learning experience.

Requirements of a Early Years Teacher:

  • Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Sound knowledge of child development theories, pedagogical approaches, and EYFS curriculum standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Valid DBS clearance and relevant safeguarding training.
