Finance Assistant - Hexham

Salary:

23,000 - 27,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the finance team in day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, performing reconciliations, and maintaining financial records.
  • Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities to contribute to effective financial planning.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to gather financial information and provide insights for decision-making purposes.
  • Contributing to the improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assisting with audits and internal controls to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within the product industry.
  • A solid understanding of financial principles and practises.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
