Customer Relationship ConsultantOur client who are one of the biggest building societies in the UK are looking to recruit a Customer Relationship Consultant for their Branch in Hexham on a full time permanent basis ASAP.Do you want to be part of a great place to work, bringing with you new ideas on how they can keep customers at the heart of what they do.Their purpose is to help more people have a home, help people save for life ahead and support long term financial wellbeing.You will be engaging in conversations to find out customers' needs, providing information to customers about our full savings range, products and services that we offer. By really listening to and getting to know the customers you will help them to review their circumstances and what their goals are, whether that be financial, family, retirement, peace of mind or even a new home and through this proactively identify the most appropriate products to suit their needs.Start date - ASAPSalary - £24,658 - Annual discretionary bonus scheme: on average Customer Consultants make additional £2000 per year- 25 days standard annual leave + bank holidays + rising 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days after 5 years, Holiday trading scheme allowing the ability to buy and sell additional annual leave days, - Employer pension contributions - up to 10% per annum dependent on employee selection. - Much more, interactive online benefits platform, where you can view and shop for benefits.Location - HexhamWorking Hours - Monday to Friday - 08:45am - 17:00pm. Two Saturdays per month will be required 9am - 12pm shift you will get these shifts a full year in advance.Responsibilities:- Cover tills and face to face transactional activities - Dealing customers face to face coming into the Branch - Dealing with customers on outbound telephone system and online- Proactively contacting customers over the phone to identify and discuss their needs.- Customer conversations and relationship building - highlighting products and services, booking reviews - Upselling - Recommend products and services, transactional activities, policies, audit, standards etc- Educate each customer on a range of products and services as well as the different communication channels they can utilise to engage directly- Administration work updating internal systemsWhat you'll need to succeed- Background in customer service environment financial services, Hospitality, Retail- Passion about delivering exceptional customer service- Enjoy meeting new people and building relationships- Work well with others, with a 'one-team' mindset across multiple channels.- Have excellent communication skills verbal and written- Are able to deliver outstanding customer service either from a face to face or a telephony background- Are able to grow, adapt and change accommodating business needs and priorities- Any Sales/upselling experience would be beneficialIf you are successful you must be able to pass a full DBS and Credit checkIf you are interested please apply ASAP with your most up to date as our client is looking to interview ASAP.
