We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance tasks and ensuring the efficient operation of various mechanical systems. You will be working with hydraulics, pneumatic air systems, and steam. Therefore, prior experience in these areas is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks on mechanical systems
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatic air systems, and steam
- Perform welding tasks, including MIG, stick, etc., and work on steam boiler systems
- Maintain and repair pump systems, including self-priming, centrifugal, positive displacement, and diaphragm pumps
- Work with drives, gears, chain, and belt-driven machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar heavy engineering environment
- Proficiency in maintenance techniques and practices
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
- Overtime and weekend availability required
- On-call duties as required
- Yearly performance bonus
