FLT Bendi/ Flexi Driver

DBR Group, acting as an employment business are recruiting an experienced FLT Bendi (Aisle Master (essential)) and Counterbalance (desirable) driver to start at our client in Heywood on a 12-week Temp to Perm contract. Meaning, you will work through DBR Group as an agency worker for 12 weeks and then transfer to the client on a permanent contract. 

Our client are a leading, independent flooring distributor that started life in Lancashire and subsequently opened branches in Cumbria and Cheshire. Established for over 45 years, they supply the full spectrum of flooring products to the trade throughout all regions of Northern England, North Wales, Isle of Man and South West Scotland. 

The role

You will be working as an FLT Bendi driver. You must be prepared to work within all aspects of the warehouse, as our client likes workers to be an intrinsic member of the team and be proficient at all roles and not concentrate solely on the use of the FLT. You must also be physically fit and able to work alone. There is scope, for the right candidate, to be trained on the flooring cutter and progress within the business.

Start times are: 

You will be expected to work 40 hours per week, Mon – Fri, 0830 – 1730hrs with 60 mins for lunch (unpaid). There are other opportunities for breaks in the morning and afternoon.

As a permanent member of the team, you will receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Our client does not work weekends and bank holidays.

The Pay

You will be on £12.00 per hour.

You will receive 25 days holiday per year.
