We are currently seeking an experienced Motor Claims Handler for our client to be based within their Heywood offices. The preferred candidates should have proven Motor Claims Handling experience within the Motor Insurance industry. You will also be a team player to join the existing, friendly, highly experienced, supportive team of handlers.

Our client is a niche company which offers considerable expertise within the motor insurance industry and a comprehensive offering to their clients. They have a strong client focussed approach and are highly regarded within the industry, and successful candidates will have an opportunity to increase their Insurance knowledge and life skills by working across different areas within the organisation.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with a fun and lively team you will be:

  • Dealing with new inbound specialist motor accident claims.
  • Be swift and efficient in contacting clients to introduce the services to them. Engaging the correct conversation to manage their expectations.
  • Validate and investigate accident circumstances to assess liability
  • Coordinate delivery and collection of the hire vehicles.
  • Monitor the hire and repair periods.
  • Work with insurance companies, third parties and legal professionals
  • Collate the correct documentation and evidence to support the claim
  • Process claims and evidence in line with company processes and software

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Experience (1 years minimum) within the Motor Insurance claims or accident management industry
  • Have a sound understanding of the claims process from start to finish and experience of Credit/fleet hire
  • Strong and confident telephone manner, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be enthusiastic and self motivated, be able to think out of the box.
  • A good geographical knowledge is a must.
