To machine components to technical drawings and specifications
Duties and Responsibilities
? Set-up and operate CNC Lathes? Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilstworking within company Quality procedures.? Self-inspection of your own work? Preventative and General maintenance checks? Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times
Competencies
Read and understand engineering drawings? Ability to set and operate CNC lathes? Ability to edit and prove out CNC Programs? Ability to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers,verniers etc)? Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances? Good attention to detail
Job Requirements Qualifications
? Minimum 5 years' experience operating CNC Machines? Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar? Prototrak prograamming experience is advantageous
