Teaching Assistant- High Peak (SK12- Disley)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Our High Peak school is a reputable educational institution committed to providing exceptional learning experiences for our students. Situated in the heart of Disley, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where both students and staff can thrive.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our educators and enhancing the learning journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement engaging educational activities.

Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs.

Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Help manage student behaviour and promote positive social interactions.

Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources.

Support teachers in assessing student progress and providing feedback.

Supervise students during class time and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a similar role or educational setting is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
