Chef Manager, High Wycombe, £45kWe are recruiting for an experienced Chef Manager to inspire the catering operation at our clients' site near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Catering for a high quality restaurant serving both the public and staff, the kitchen provides a call order breakfast and lunch service as well as a busy afternoon tea. All food is freshly prepared using quality ingredients and produce and customer expectation is high.As the Chef Manager, you will be * responsible for the day to day running of the site* lead, manage and motivate a small team including training and rotas* creating menus and ensuring food is of a high standard* financially responsible for the budget, GP and cost control as well as all paperwork/adminThe site is open 7 days a week so working hours are 5/7 days, 40 hours per week (no lates)Our ideal candidate would have- proven experience as a Chef Manager or Kitchen Manager within a fresh food, call order kitchen- exceptional culinary skills - excellent financial acumen - strong admin and leadership/management skills - excellent communication with the ability to liaise with customers and clients- the ability to think on your feet in a calm, rational manner- a genuine passion for food, ingredients and customer service- a friendly and willing approach with a positive, can do attitudeFor more information, apply immediately or send your updated CV to *All candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK at the time of application
