An exciting opportunity has arisen for a level 3 Nursery nurse to join a super nursery  in Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire.  If you enjoy doing exciting activities with children and have good knowledge of EYFS curriculum, we want to hear from you.  

Person Specification:

NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent

Experience of working in a nursery setting

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Minimum 1-year experience in a similar roleSome of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will include:

  • Key worker responsibilities, maintaining children’s development records
  • To comply with all nursery policy and procedures
  • To work closely with the Room leader planning stimulating age appropriate activities  
  • To promote diversity and equal opportunity
  • To develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and external childcare professionals
  • To support children with personal care at sleep and meal times
  • To ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe and inviting to parents and children 
  • To attend monthly staff meetings, parent’s evenings, nursery outings and further training as required
