Fantastic opportunity for someone with previous HR admin experience to join a forward thinking and vibrant organization in High Wycombe.

As part of the HR team, you will provide essential administrative support to all employee lifecycle activities, such as recruitment, training & development, leaver processes as well as taking part in additional HR projects.

This role could suit someone who is looking to develop their HR career and move into an advisor role in the future. Study support could also be considered for the right candidate.

Some of the duties will include

HR Records/Employee Information

  • Keep the HR system up to date
  • Assist with ongoing implementation of the HR system
  • Assist with providing Board/management information reports from the HR system

HR Administration

  • Prepare ad hoc HR letters Assist with benefit administration and associated queries - e.g., private medical scheme, pensions, Cyclescheme etc.
  • Prepare the monthly Board report
  • Administer probationary processes
  • Administration of long service awards, eye care process, references, leaver process
  • Assist with preparation of the monthly payroll administration

Recruitment

  • Assist with advertising new roles
  • Liaise with and brief recruitment agencies
  • Assist with reviewing/shortlisting CV's
  • Log and distribute CV's to hiring managers
  • Book interviews with prospective candidates directly or through recruitment agencies
  • Administration of appropriate selection exercises
  • Prepare offer letters/starter packs/new starter files
  • Assist with the HR induction of new staff

Skills Required

  • Keen interest in HR and supporting the business
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages and HR software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Be able to adhere to deadlines and use initiative when problem solving
  • Be professional at all times, maintaining confidentiality
  • Manage several different tasks in a timely manner
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach
  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • Able to build excellent relationships at all levels
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Good listening skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Level 4 or above (A-C) in English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
  • CIPD qualification desirable
