Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm
Salary: £33,075 to £50,471 depending on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a vibrant and well-regarded secondary school in High Wycombe. This exciting opportunity is open to teachers available for an immediate start or from September 2025. You’ll join a supportive department focused on fostering a love of mathematics and driving excellent pupil outcomes across all key stages. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths lessons that engage and challenge students, helping them build confidence and mastery in numeracy and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
- Track and assess pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and support
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share best practice
- Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes and a positive attitude towards maths
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
