The Truck Maintenance Sales Representative at is responsible for understanding and addressing the maintenance needs of existing and potential customers in the trucking industry. This role serves as a liaison between clients and the Truck Care team, ensuring effective communication and resolution of maintenance issues while promoting a range of products and services tailored to customer needs. There is a lot of account management in this position and you will also need to prospect and develop new business. You MUST have experience of working with commercial vehicles and/or maintence.
Responsibilities- Promote and offer a portfolio of products, services, and solutions to customers.
- Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to customers and management.
- Create persuasive proposals that highlight the value of services offered and address customer needs.
- Gather client feedback through in-person visits and customer conversations to improve services and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests.
- Stay updated with industry developments and adapt strategies to stay ahead of competitors.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to expand the client base and enhance market presence.
- Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose and ensure clients and team members are supported at the highest level.
- Ensure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Sales experience preferably in the trucking maintenance industry.
- Understanding of Truck Care and trucking industry key concepts and terminology.
- Intermediate CRM (preferably Salesforce) skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
