BDS Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an Estate Manager to work a retirement housing complex near Camden. The complex consists of 20 selfcontained leasehold apartments and various communcal areas set within attractive gardens and outside space.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm. This is initially a temporarypost for around 6 months but could become at a later date.
Rate of pay is 17.20 per hour paye or 21.70 umbrella
The Role:
- To ensure residents over 55 are able to live independently within sheltered and general housing using assistive technology.
- Managing a scheme of 20apartments.
- To carry out tenant daily wellbeing calls and checks based on assessed risk that promotes independence.
- Offering advice and guidance to residents on keeping the property to a reasonable condition.
- Reporting and arranging repairs
- Providing daily communal support such as arranging flowers, or organsing a weekly residents event
About you:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience of building checks and repairs reporting
- Ability to support with low level asb's
- Ability to take on any light concierge duties
