Do you have a passion for helping children and young people overcome challenges and thrive? We are looking for a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our brand-new Contextual Safeguarding Home in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting new service designed to protect children at risk of harm in their communities and help them build safer, more hopeful futures.

�? About the Home

We support up to 3 young people aged 8-18 who are vulnerable to exploitation and harm outside of their family environment. Our focus is on early intervention, safety, and recovery—creating space for children to build trust, develop emotional resilience, and grow in confidence.

?? What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build safe, trusting, and nurturing relationships with children and young people
  • Create a calm, supportive, and inclusive environment
  • Work closely with families, carers, and professionals to support each child’s development
  • Help with day-to-day routines—cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the home
  • Keep accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
  • Support children to build confidence, independence, and social skills

?? What We’re Looking For

  • A valid UK driving licence (essential due to the nature of the role)
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or a commitment to achieve it within the required timeframe
  • A genuine desire to support vulnerable young people and make a positive difference
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins
  • Previous experience is helpful, but not essential—we’re looking for the right values and attitude
