Job Description: Senior Project Manager - Commercial Office & Life Sciences - Hitchin
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (SPM) to join our client's team for an exciting new build life sciences project in Hitchin. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, design, and construction of this state-of-the-art facility.
Our client is a tier 1 main contractor operating in the commercial office, education, leisure, and life sciences sectors, handling both private and public schemes. As a family-owned business, they have a robust pipeline of projects in this region.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering commercial projects ( 25M+) from inception to completion
- Previous experience thriving in a tier 1 contracting environment
- Expertise in PCSA and 2nd stage tender processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Monitor construction progress and address any issues or delays
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
