The role:
Excellent opportunity for a Software Developer to join a dynamic team, enhancing existing systems, and adding additional features to a growing stack of software solutions. Our core solutions are web applications servicing our business clients energy management needs. Supporting these we have several micro-services integrating APIs, smart meter feeds, invoices, market & risk data, and generating reports.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

*Participating in the fortnightly cycle of sprint and stand up meetings where tasks are assigned and progress discussed

*Joining ad hoc design meeting for larger more complex tasks

*Daily coding of feature requests (and bug fixes), applying best practices to generate robust high performing code

*Testing your own work and investigating and debugging issues

*Documenting code and process flows

Core skills required:

*Python Django

*API Integration (REST, JSON)

*HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Other desirable skills:

*AWS

*Docker

*Linux

*Celery

*Flask

*Selenium

*DevOps

Education and Qualification Requirements:

*A-Levels

*GCSE's (English & Maths)

*Bachelors Degree would be desired/advantageous

Other Characteristics:

*Willingness to accept other duties as assigned.

*Ability to travel and to work overtime as needed.

*Must be able to work with sensitive and highly confidential information.
