Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering dynamic and engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Planning and preparing lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives
- Participating in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in History or a related field
- Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
