Construction Project Manager

Holyhead

£55,000 - £65,000 + Package

Our client is a well known Construction business located in Manchester with projects all across the North West and beyond. They have a wide range of projects ranging from residential to commercial, education to extra care. They are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage a large construction project in Holyhead. As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a critical role from preconstruction stage in ensuring the successful delivery of our residential high-rise projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality- contributing to the growth and success of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning:Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Team Management:Build and lead a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors and suppliers, to execute projects effectively.
  3. Design Management:Oversee the design process from RIBA stage 3 to RIBA stage 6.
  4. Quality Assurance:Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process, adhering to industry regulations and company standards.
  5. Cost Management:Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  6. Risk Assessment:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  7. Stakeholder Communication:Maintain regular communication with stakeholder, providing project updates and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  8. Schedule Management:Manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met, and projects are completed on time.
  9. Procurement:Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment required for construction projects.
  10. Contract Management:Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  11. Compliance:Ensure that all construction activities comply with regulations and building codes.
  12. Reporting to the Construction Director

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a strong background in residential high-rise projects.

Knowledge of construction management software and tools.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
