We are working with Bluebird Care Devon and they are committed to ensuring a smooth and safe transition to customers coming back to their own homes for individuals following discharge. They appreciate that every customer is different, and this is why every night will be different. Bluebird are currently recruiting Urgent Night Responders across Exeter & East Devon to support Customers who have recent been discharged. If you are successful a degree of flexibility is required (between Honiton, Exeter and surrounding areas).Due to this being an emergency service you must be prepared that you could receive your allocation up to 2 hours prior to your shift.Bluebird are able to guarantee a minimum of 3 nights per week, which will include every other weekend. They are rated Outstanding by CQC and for that reason, they pride themselves on selecting the very best Care Assistants. As part of the Urgent Response Team you will work from 10pm through to 7am with one individual per shift between Honiton, Exeter and surrounding areasThe offer:
Starting pay £14.00 per hour up to £15.00 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities as a Urgent response Night Carer
All aspects of personal care such as showering, bathing, dressing, toileting & continence care
Assisting and prompting with medication
Preparing and serving food and drinks
Safely using aids and personal equipment in a manner that respects the dignity of customers
Supporting a customer through temporary and terminal illness, including end of life care
Complete a report highlighting any identified issues/concerns during the placement
Your Suitability for the Urgent Response Night Carer The client ensures that customers receive the very best care and to do that they need people who are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. Previous experience working nights in the care industry would be highly advantageous.
