Job Title: Welder/Fabricator – TIG & MIG (Aluminium & Steel)
Location: Honiton
Salary: £24,960-£33,280 (DOE)
Full Time Permanent Role (Monday-Friday)
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Welder/Fabricator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will bring energy, precision, and a proactive approach to welding and fabrication in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities-
- Safely operate welding and fabrication equipment in line with company procedures.
- Carry out TIG welding on aluminium and TIG/MIG welding on steel.
- Perform general fabrication tasks, including cutting, drilling, sawing, and other metalworking duties.
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings to produce components to specification.
- Inspect products, tools, and consumables, reporting any defects or issues.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area.
- Ensure materials are stocked and workstation is production ready.
- Support colleagues across production and dispatch when required.
- Fabricate parts and assemblies for customer orders with attention to quality and detail.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 1 year’s TIG welding experience.
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong ability to interpret machine/technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools (advantageous but not essential).
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities in a busy production setting.
