Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Head Chef in preparing and presenting high-quality tapas dishes.
  • Supervising the kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Monitoring food production and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to create new and innovative tapas recipes.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a sous-chef or Kitchen Assistant in a tapas restaurant.
  • In-depth knowledge of Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.

Minimum required experience: 6 months
