A plastic injection moulding and tooling business offering a complete tooling service to a diverse customer base spanning many industries, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their extensive production moulding facility.
Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the main purpose of this role is to manufacture mould tooling elements and general machined parts.
As a CNC Machinist, your duties will include -
- Machining to a high standard on a range of toolroom machines
- General machining in steels and alloys to support tooling elements and general machined parts
- Manufacture of jigs & fixtures to support the mould shop
To be successful in the role of CNC Machinist, the ideal candidate will -
- Have extensive knowledge and experience as a CNC machinist
- Be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Have knowledge of software such as VISI Cam/Cad, AutoCAD, Alphacam and Solidworks
- Ideally be experienced with: 3-axis Mikron with Heidenhain controller / Hurco with Max controller
- Ideally be experienced with: 5-axis DMU with Heidendain controller

- A salary 33 - 40K open to negotiation for the right skillset
- Flexible Monday to Friday day shift, within 7am - 4pm (40-hour week)
- **4 day working week can be considered**
- 25 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays (33 total)

Based in West Sussex, this role is commutable from Crawley, Brighton, Guildford and all surrounding areas.
