Cover Supervisor role in Secondary School, Horsham

Pay: £100 - £130 per day

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

About the role:

Supply Desk are working closely with a Secondary School based in Horsham that are seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to start ASAP.

Working as a cover supervisor can be extremely rewarding but it is also very demanding. The cover supervisor’s main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set by an absent teacher. It is important that you are confident working with teenage students, have the ability to work under challenging situations and are adaptable. Training is provided by the School to help. You will need to have a degree and ideally some experience working in a similar role. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that is seeking a career in education and teaching.

About you:

We are looking for Cover Supervisors who are confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best. Candidates must have excellent classroom management, a love of teaching and experience working with students aged 11 – 16.

Ideally you will have a degree and relevant experience working with Secondary aged students in a similar role.
