Main duties/responsibilities are outlined as follows, but are not limited to –
• In this position, you will manage all employee and employment matters, companywide, in line with Company Policies and Procedures. From recruitment through to termination of employment.
• Manage Disciplinary and Grievance process, ensuring best practice.
• Manage and Monitor Staff clocking hours, while ensuring Return to Work interviews are conducted by Management, Lost hours are recorded, clocking mistakes are queried and corrections are done in good time. Submitting the full and correct data/hours to our Payroll Administrator (currently outsourced), on the last working day of the month.
• Carry out staff inductions, ensuring all necessary paperwork is signed and returned, and any training is recorded.
• Manage any Furlough, Redundancies, Lay Offs or similar.
• Assist Management and Directors to deliver the business strategy.
• Update and create HR Policies and Procedures, as necessary.
• Help the Directors to make the company compliant, while maintaining staff welfare.
• Reviewing workloads and manpower, alongside the other Managers to ensure staff are happy with processes and are operating efficiently.
• Manage recruitment, engagement, development and management of the workforce, companywide.
• Split working hours between duties, in order of priority and in the most efficient manner. Involving/communicating to relevant department Manager(s), as necessary.
• Provide guidance and insight to upper management.
• Assist the Management team in the staff evaluations/appraisals, including any End of Probationary Period.
• Attend courses/training, as necessary, in order to perform your duties fully and expand your knowledge/service to the Company’s needs/requirements.
• Organise/Assist in organising Staff Bonding events, such as the Christmas Dinner.
• Utilise our legal advice line (FSB) for guidance, in line with our agreement with them, when necessary.
