Reed Accountancy are partnered with a well-established organisation in the recruitment for a Finance Assistant to join their team.
Key responsibilities of Finance Assistant:
- Work closely with the accounts team to ensure prompt and accurate payments on a daily and weekly basis.
- Assist with the management of monthly and annual network deductions from member income accounts.
- Handle administrative tasks associated with customer onboarding, departures, and internal business transfers.
- Participate in ad-hoc finance projects to address business needs, such as regulatory changes or the implementation of best practices.
- Support the Finance Manager in executing Network credit control policies and procedures.
- Contribute to maintaining the Network’s financial monitoring systems and controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Exposure to Finance/Financial services through previous roles or relevant qualifications.
- Proficiency in numeracy and a solid grasp of Excel and Word.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
- Confident in interacting with Directors, Staff, and Members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with accuracy.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
