Reed Accountancy are partnered with a well-established organisation in the recruitment for a Finance Assistant to join their team.

Key responsibilities of Finance Assistant:

  • Work closely with the accounts team to ensure prompt and accurate payments on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Assist with the management of monthly and annual network deductions from member income accounts.
  • Handle administrative tasks associated with customer onboarding, departures, and internal business transfers.
  • Participate in ad-hoc finance projects to address business needs, such as regulatory changes or the implementation of best practices.
  • Support the Finance Manager in executing Network credit control policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to maintaining the Network’s financial monitoring systems and controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exposure to Finance/Financial services through previous roles or relevant qualifications.
  • Proficiency in numeracy and a solid grasp of Excel and Word.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
  • Confident in interacting with Directors, Staff, and Members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with accuracy.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
