A rare opportunity is available for those eager to join a vibrant and inclusive specialist school community. We are looking for a passionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a full-time position, dedicated to supporting students on a 1:1 basis.

This role is exclusively during term time, with required hours from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

You will be responsible for providing assistance within and outside the classroom, and engaging in extracurricular activities. With around 75 enrolled students, this school is a top choice in the local area. Located on a superb campus with spacious classrooms, outdoor learning areas, and excellent resources, this is an exceptional chance to be part of a dynamic educational environment.

Collaborating closely with dedicated teachers and staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with varied needs. Your duties will include aiding in lesson planning and execution, offering personalised guidance, and ensuring the smooth operation of the school. Whether you are assisting younger children or older students, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in their lives, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Experience with SEN/SEMH is desirable but not essential
  • Own transport due to location
  • GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent
  • DBS on the update service desirable
