The company is a leading global supplier of airport vehicles and plant equipment and is a genuine market leader in its field.

Currently expanding the team at Heathrow, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a parts advisor to join the team.

As a parts advisor you will play an integrally important role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the workshop and technician teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels of spare parts and materials, ensuring availability for workshop engineers and minimizing downtime.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure parts, negotiate pricing, and track deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and returns.
  • Collaborate with workshop engineers to identify parts needs, provide technical support, and ensure correct part usage.
  • Organize and optimize store layout to facilitate efficient parts retrieval and inventory management.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards related to parts management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a parts advisory role, preferably in an aviation or automotive environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and suppliers.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and managing parts inventory.
  • Knowledge of vehicle parts.
  • Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and MS Office applications.
