Our client is looking for a coordinator to join their team and look after mainly Air Export Shipments
Duties include:
- Contacting shippers.
- Arrange collections.
- Cut MAWB & HAWBs, displaying knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements ie operator variations, Promo references etc.
- Demonstrate negotiations with airlines for maximum margin.complete Customs entries and have knowledge of slightly more complex procedure codes. (IPR, BONDED,EXPORT LICENSING etc).
- Provide quotations & understand market rates.
- High customer service levels throughout providing agents post flights, departure advice etc.
- Additional bonus qualifications - Dangerous Goods trained & Aviation Security trained up to level CO (Cargo Operative).
- Can supervise a small team and delegate and manage workload between all individuals.
- Ability to provide a safety net to ensure nothing is missed.
- Adhere to a fast-paced environment with strong email management & response time.
Any knowledge outside of Airfreight Exports is welcomed.
For our Airfreight Imports, CDS/CHIEF experience is useful.
